On April 8, 2023, we will have Zazenkai (an all-day sit) from 8am till 4pm (incorporating the usual Saturday morning sit) followed by the ceremony of receiving the Zen Precepts (Jukai) at 4pm. Those interested in receiving the Precepts (the Zen ethical teachings) should follow the instructions in Preparing for Jukai and contact [email protected] in a timely fashion. All GBZC participants, as well as friends and family, are welcome to attend, to witness this important event! The ceremony can be witnessed either in person in the Cambridge zendo or on zoom.
