How to Join

(1) Fill out a membership application form either online or by downloading and submitting this printable form. You will be asked for your contact information and pledge amount.

The amount of your pledge is up to you. GBZC values the intention behind your gift and is grateful for your pledge in any amount – there is no minimum. Only those sangha leaders who need to know will see the amount of your pledge. 

We recommend, however, that members who can afford it contribute $60 per month. If you have the capacity to make a larger pledge, your monthly gift of $120 or $200 per month makes it possible for GBZC to continue to serve everyone, without regard to financial circumstances.

(2) Arrange to fulfill your monthly or annual pledge of financial support.  We ask you to please use this Give Lively page to make your contribution (why?). If you prefer to use PayPal Giving Fund (or any of the “other ways to give” listed on our Donate page), please also send a note to treasurer@bostonzen.org explaining that your donation represents “membership dues.” 

Membership is renewed annually, and we encourage you to check to make sure that you have donated in the last year (that is, that your membership is in good standing) before our annual membership meeting every summer. 

Once your application is approved by the board, and your first payment is received, we will send you a letter confirming your membership. Welcome!
