How to Join

(1) Fill out a membership application form either online or by downloading and submitting this printable form. You will be asked for your contact information and pledge amount.

The amount of your pledge is up to you. GBZC values the intention behind your gift and is grateful for your pledge in any amount – there is no minimum. However, if you would like some suggestions, here are some:

GBZC recommends that members contribute at the Supporting ($60/month) level if you can. If you have the capacity to make a larger pledge, we encourage you to be as generous as possible, as your monthly gift of $120 or $200 or more makes it possible for GBZC to continue to serve everyone, without regard to financial circumstances.

(2) Arrange to fulfill your monthly or annual pledge of financial support.  We ask you to please use this Give Lively page to make your contribution (why?)  and prefer the use of secure ACH bank transfers. (GBZC then loses less than 1% of your contribution to fees, compared to 3% if you pay by credit card or 2% if you use a PayPal account.)  If you strongly prefer to use PayPal Giving Fund (or any of the “other ways to give” listed on our Donate page), please also send a note to [email protected] explaining that your donation represents “membership dues.” 

Membership is renewed annually in the spring.

Once your application is approved by the board, and your first payment is received, we will send you a letter confirming your membership. Welcome!
